\"\"Der Zoo Safaripark Stukenbrock ist ein Freizeitpark in Schlo\u00df Holte-Stukenbrock und liegt am Fu\u00dfe des Teutoburger Waldes nahe der Stadt Bielefeld. Das rund 650.000 Quadratmeter gro\u00dfe Parkgel\u00e4nde f\u00fcgt sich harmonisch in die nat\u00fcrliche Landschaft ein und ist eine gelungene Kombination aus Safariland und Freizeitpark.<\/p>\n

Einst als reiner Safaripark gegen Ende der 60er Jahre gestartet, sind dort schon seit einigen Jahrzehnten zahlreiche Fahrgesch\u00e4fte im Einsatz. Diese sollten jedoch nur einen Zusatz zum Safaripark bilden sollen, denn nach wie vor sind hier die Tiere die gro\u00dfe Attraktion.<\/p>\n

Das Safariland ist ein gro\u00dfz\u00fcgiges Tier-Freigehege mit altem Baumbestand und bietet den Tieren ein artgerechtes Zuhause und den Besuchern die M\u00f6glichkeit, wilde Tiere vom Auto aus in freier Wildbahn zu erleben.<\/p>\n

Mehr als 600 Tiere haben hier eine neue Heimat gefunden. Darunter Tiger, L\u00f6wen, Elefanten, Giraffen, Kamele, Nash\u00f6rner, Antilopen und Zebras um nur einige zu nennen. Sie allen begegnen ihnen in einem Lebensraum, den der Park der nat\u00fcrlichen Umgebung angepasst hat. So zum Beispiel das Affengehege mit seinen Kletterfelsen: Hier sitzen n\u00e4mlich nicht die Berberaffen, sondern die Besucher \u201ehinter Gittern\u201c – im \u201eAffenzug\u201c, der in gem\u00e4chlichem Tempo seine Runde dreht.<\/p>\n

Als einziger Zoo in Deutschland beteiligt sich der Park zudem an einem Programm zur Erhaltung der wei\u00dfen L\u00f6wen von Timbavati, von denen es auf der ganzen Welt nur noch ca. 70 Exemplare gibt. Im Zoo Safaripark Stukenbrock k\u00f6nnen Sie die zweite und dritte Generation der wei\u00dfen L\u00f6wen vom Auto oder Bus aus in der weitl\u00e4ufigen Safari-Landschaft – fast wie in freier Wildbahn beobachten. Die Nachzuchten sind in ein riesiges Freiareal mit B\u00e4umen, Wiesen und Ruhepl\u00e4tzen gezogen \u2013 in eine Landschaft also, in der sich die Tiere so richtig austoben k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n

Doch der Safaripark hat nat\u00fcrlich noch einiges mehr zu bieten. Zahlreiche moderne Fahrgesch\u00e4fte von gem\u00fctlich bis rasant begeistern Kinder und Jugendliche ebenso wie die Erwachsenen. Auch die Show-Einlagen, allen voran die Western-Show mit Cowboys, Indianern, T\u00e4nzern und Artisten und nat\u00fcrlich Pferden, sind gern besuchte Veranstaltungen.<\/p>\n

Besonders Mutige finden eine echte Herausforderung im Hochseilgarten \u00fcber den Geparden. Ein Kletter-Parcours in f\u00fcnf Metern H\u00f6he \u00fcber den Raubtieren. Schlangenbalken, Spinnennetz, Slalom\u2026 siebzig Meter in schwindelnder H\u00f6he Hindernisse \u00fcberwinden, Herausforderungen meistern, Grenzen \u00fcberwinden\u2026 und das \u00fcber den K\u00f6pfen der schnellsten Gro\u00dfkatzen der Welt ist einfach Nervenkitzel pur.<\/p>\n

Ein weiteres spannendes Tiererlebnis in der Region bietet die Adlerwarte Berlebeck<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, wo Greifv\u00f6gel in beeindruckenden Flugshows aus n\u00e4chster N\u00e4he erlebt werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n
